the tune of this hymn "hallelujah" it just went' mommy loves you,
daddy loves you' my god, i have tears in my eyes now.

i remember
listening to the gambler my Kenny Rogers a lot, and the chipmunks.

Pensiez-vous
travailler dans la musique ? Que souhaitiez-vous devenir plus
tard ?
yes,
I thought of it. i got my degree in music. i was a voice major for
a while. then i realized i didn't want to sing opera. i couldnt ever
find a job in music. i know i will always do music anyway, so i just
decided i would work doing something else. I really wanted to become
a rock star. i did. not so much anymore. I knew i wanted to be on
MTV as soon as i saw it, but i always said i wanted to do what my
dad did. join the air force.
Y
a t’il des sons désagréables (ou agréables) qui

at nite. my mother sang to me, that is why i sing now. it is pure
love.

que vos parents ont participé à votre éducation
musicale ?
they
bought a piano and paid for lessons, i couldnt stick with it. i just
played it on my own though. they bought me a guitar and paid for lessons,
once again, i ended up teaching myself. they encouraged me and i understood
harmony early on from listening to my mother sing alto on hymns in
church.
Pouvez-vous
raconter un souvenir d’enfance marquant, relatif à la musique
(concert, spectacle…) ?
i saw the Jackson's victory tour in Texas stadium. that was a big
deal. i got all dressed up and my mom took me and a friend. we couldn't
really see them from where we were, but i still danced like crazy.
i learned to moonwalk in 5th grade.
